About Ball Valves

Ball Valves are quarter-turn valves designed for reliable flow isolation and shut-off. They use a spherical ball with a central bore that rotates 90° to open or close the flow passage. When fully open, the straight-through bore provides low flow resistance and minimal pressure drop. Ball valves are widely used in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, pipeline, and industrial applications where fast operation, tight shut-off, and reliable isolation are required.
